Parking + Transport

Free onsite parking is available at Kelvin Grove College.
We encourage carpooling to allow as much access as possible to free parking at the venue.

Please consult the venue map for parking areas within the College grounds.

Dedicated Parking

For those with mobility and other special requirements, dedicated parking has been allocated close to the hall. Please indicate on your registration form if you wish a place to be reserved. If you forgot to do this, please email the secretary and he will endeavour to accommodate you. You will need to supply your contact details and your vehicle registration.

On-street parking

Free and paid parking on the streets surrounding the venue. Please check signs and pay via council machines.
For example: Victoria Park Road and sections of L’Estrange Tce 7am to 7pm Mon-Fri $3.20 per hour, max $16 for 12 hours. Other times free parking.

Please Note: A two-hour parking limit applies to all council parking spaces in the immediate vicinity of KGSC between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, and 7am and midday on Saturdays. As always, read the signs carefully. You can pay for on-street parking at a parking meter (look for a blue ‘Pay Here’ sign) or by using the CellOPark App (Android | Apple). You don’t need to display a parking ticket on your vehicle. Charges can be viewed at Brisbane Parking Meters and Fees.

There is parking at the Kelvin Grove Shopping Village (57 Musk Avenue) 6am-11pm daily. Free for 2 hours in a 24 hour period (number plate recognition). Credit card payment for longer parking is required with rates from $10 for 3 hours, up to a $35 daily maximum.

Secure Parking 88 Musk Avenue (entry on Robson Avenue)

6am-6.30pm Mon-Sat
Weekday $3 per hour, $15 for 4 hours+.
Weekend $5 drive-up
Parking here is paid for using the Secure Parking App.

Note: the QUT carparks are convenient but expensive during the day.

Shuttle Bus

A shuttle bus will operate to and from the Quest Hotel. Other locations will be determined on an as-needed basis and may include nearby carparks and accommodation. A time table for the shuttle bus will be published prior to the Conference. The shuttle bus will operate until close of activity in the evening, but will not be available during Conference session times to allow the volunteer drivers to attend activities.
